Prewitt Ridge is excited to announce our graduation from the Catalyst Accelerator Ogden (partnered with The Department of the Air Force Digital Transformation Office (DAF DTO)) Spring 2023 Cohort.
Over the last 12 weeks, our team has improved and increased the capabilities of our engineering platform Verve to address specific government technology needs, including a focus on streamlining digital models to enable an efficient process for Unified Certification Strategy (UCS).
Unified Certification Strategy (UCS) is a comprehensive approach within the United States Air Force (USAF) and Department of Defense (DoD) designed to streamline the three primary certification types: Airworthiness, Cyber Security, and Nuclear Surety.
UCS is a joint effort between the government and industry to reduce the cost & complexity of certification while ensuring products and services meet the highest standards of security and reliability.
Digital Models, such as MBSE SysML, CAD, and FEA models, play a key role in certification efficiency, given the complexity & quantity of data in government technology. Many of the current processes are done manually or semi-automatically.
The Catalyst Accelerator Ogden is a three-month program in partnership with the US Air Force that competitively selects small businesses with novel solutions to an Air Force need. Seven small businesses were competitively selected across the United States for their technical solutions to solve an Air Force problem statement. There are no equity requirements, and this program is funded by the US Air Force.
